CANCELLATION OF THE 64TH EDITION OF GSTAAD MENUHIN FESTIVAL & ACADEMY - "VIENNA"

For the first time in the 64-year history of the festival, the festival is forced to cancel all concerts, academies and events planned by Gstaad MenuhinFestival & Academy for the coming summer. A heavy blow for the hotel industry and the local trade. We have decided to keep all Menuhin offers open anyway. We cannot bring ourselves to delete all Menuhin offers. Depending on the situation, we at the Bernerhof are planning one or more small events on our Alp Züneweid. Maybe even in the St. Niklaus Chapel in the centre of Gstaad, combined with a meal in our new restaurant "Esprit Ravet". As soon as we have clarity for August & September, we will post the offers here.

We are already looking forward to welcoming you next year to the 65th (!) Menuhin Festival.

On Saturday the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of star conductor Vassily Petrenko, will be presenting a Beethoven Gala with exciting and rarely heard compositions such as a triple concerto and choral fantasy. On Sunday experience the crossover project «Break'in Mozart» where Breakdance meets Mozart ... A weekend that is typical for the vibrant and innovative spirit of Gstaad Menuhin Festival.
